How do I? 
Effective 1/1/2011,Televisions must be recycled and not collected with solid waste.  You may drop off your electronics at the Public Works yard.  The Township will no longer accept small electronics such as DVD players, CD players, fax machines, stereos, and radios.  These items may be put out with regular solid waste pick up.

This facility will accept the following:
 
Car batteries, propane tanks, paint, flammables, toxics, pesticides, corrosives, lead-acid batteries, household batteries, oil, antifreeze, building supplies, lawnmowers, and building materials.  This facility can accept all types of hazardous waste.  The only waste they cannot accept are radioactives, (i.e., smoke detectors) cylinders, explosives, and medical waste.   Click here for hours of operation and other additional information.  There is a fee for disposal
 
Asbestos
 
The Resource Recovery Complex will accept asbestos waste from residents of Burlington County.  The asbestos must have been generated from a residence.  No asbestos generated at a commercial location can be accepted.  For details call 609.499.5200.

The Refrigerator/Freezer Recycling Program promotes responsible recycling of refrigerators and freezers and offers a $50 incentive.  More information is available here
Recycling Information
Recycling Items can be dropped off 24 hours a day.  Cardboard, paper, magazines, paperback books, plastics, glass, and aluminum may be placed in appropriate containers at no charge.  Receptacles are located behind the Municipal Building in front of the Public Works gate.
